Siemens Energy Gibsonton, FL, is seeking an ASNT Level III NDT/NDE Manager to safeguard gas turbine blade and vane inspection integrity. You will lead RT, PT, UT programs, develop NDI procedures, and drive continuous improvement across casting, machining, and final inspection.
The role demands a certified Level III with 8+ years in high-consequence manufacturing, strong ISO 9001/NAS 410 knowledge, and the ability to mentor a team of inspectors.
As the ASNT Level III NDT/NDE Managerat our Gibsonton facility, you will focus on supporting our investment casting foundry for gas turbine blades and vanes. You will act as the technical authority for inspecting safety-critical hardware, focusing on enhancing inspection robustness, reducing defect escapes, and minimizing non-conformance costs. The role is structured around three core areas: NDI Technical Governance, which establishes and enforces inspection standards; Personnel Competency & Oversight, ensuring all NDI staff are qualified and certified; and Enterprise Harmonization & Improvement, which aligns practices across Siemens Energy and drives technological advancements. The ideal candidate must be a certified Level III NDI expert in Radiographic Testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT). They should have extensive experience in a high-consequence manufacturing environment and a deep understanding of ISO 9001 and ASNT/NAS 410 standards. Additionally, the candidate must possess the ability to lead and mentor a team of inspection professionals.
