- Conduct Fluorescent Penetrant inspection functions in a manufacturing environment
- Perform quality review metallurgical dispositions following procedures as required
- Complete classroom theory, OFT and certification examination
- Understand internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings
- Responsible for signing-off product inspected
- Re-certification required at interval
- Perform daily walk around of equipment, maintain cleanliness of inspection area and be capable of troubleshooting equipment issues
- Must be able to obtain NDT Certification within designated timeframe
- Must be willing to work any shift, including an alternate work week. Overtime may be required
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-year technical degree in a Non-Destructive Testing program OR Level II Certification in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection
- In absence of a technical degree, must have 4 years of work experience in Non-Destructive inspection
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a quality/aerospace manufacturing environment
- Knowledge FPI Inspection systems
- Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience following quality procedures
