POSITION SUMMARY: The Field Services General Manager will have full responsibility for all field activities and part of the business unit, including financial performance, operations, and sales. They will lead strategy formulation and implementation for sustainable profitable growth.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Oversee all field activities and operations.
• Conduct site visits with employees and customers.
• Support operations with staffing and equipment needs.
• Manage and support Project Managers.
• Develop and meet fiscal budgets.
• Utilize key performance indicators to enhance customer value.
• Ensure employee retention and development.
• Collaborate with sales to identify targets and pricing strategies.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in operations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, Safety, Quality, and Radiation Safety programs.
• Maintain business records.
• Formulate and monitor the annual business plan and budget.
• Implement company policies and ensure statutory compliance.
• Manage division safety, profit and loss, payroll, and accounts payable.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in a General Management role preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, industrial, nuclear, petrochemical, refining, or utility environments required.
• Experience in the NDT industry is required.
• College coursework is desirable but not mandatory.
• Effective communication skills for customer and employee interactions.
• Understanding of MISTRAS’ Advanced Technology offerings.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
