CDW is seeking a seasoned Mergers and Acquisition/Divestiture (M&A/D) Chief Architect to lead high-impact transformation initiatives across our ecosystem. This senior-level role will drive strategic outcomes for clients and internal stakeholders through presales leadership and delivery oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead M&A and divestiture strategy, due diligence, and integration efforts across multiple practices
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients and executive stakeholders
  • Oversee delivery and ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution
  • Guide and influence cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes
  • Develop and evolve service offerings in alignment with client needs and industry best practices

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • M&A/D Expertise: Deep knowledge of due diligence, integration strategy, and post-merger optimization
  • Consulting: Demonstrated success in roles within reseller or professional services organizations (e.g., CDW), delivering technology solutions and services
  • Multi-Practice Leadership: Proven ability to drive collaboration across technical and consulting teams
  • Executive Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for executive-level engagement
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Ability to align organizational goals with data-driven M&A outcomes
  • Industry & Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes, industry dynamics, and change management
  • Practice Development: Experience creating and scaling consulting services and delivery methodologies
  • Project Management: Skilled in planning and executing complex M&A projects
  • Consulting Mindset: Ability to assess client needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Mentorship: Proven ability to coach and mentor junior consultants and client teams

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in M&A/D strategy, enterprise architecture, or related consulting roles
  • Proven track record of executive-level stakeholder management
  • Experience with complex, cross-functional enterprise initiatives
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and change management skills
