Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Calibration NDT Inspector on 2nd shift at the Elyria, OH location. You will maintain and calibrate gauges and test equipment to ensure products meet NAS 410 standards and design specifications.

You will issue and calibrate measurement devices, monitor calibration schedules, and work with Inspection and Production teams on repairs and replacements. The role requires Level II NDT certification and relevant calibration experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Prior calibration experience preferred.
• Must be certified to Level II NDT per NAS 410 for Magnetic Particle AND Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection.
• Proficient at reading blueprints, detail sheets and manufacturing outlines.
• Basic math and geometry/trigonometry skills; strong reading/writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform NAS standard Process Control Checks.
• Process parts per internal procedures.
• Maintain inventory for department.
• Maintain Level II NDT certifications per NAS 410.
• Issue, control and calibrate all measuring equipment.
• Calibrate measuring equipment used for manufacture and test.
• Maintain calibration database and ensure tools are tracked.
