Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an Assistant Radiographer/Radiographer Trainee in Burlington, WA to assist the Level II NDE Technician across designated NDT methods while gaining hands-on experience. This entry-level role requires travel to job sites and close supervision by licensed radiographers.

A 40-hour Radiation Safety Course is required, with IRRSP Card preferred. The position involves setting up and tearing down equipment, performing routine maintenance, and preparing service documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to respond to short-notice work assignments which may require overnight travel.
• Must communicate with clients, supervisors and co-workers.
• Must have a 40 hour Radiation Safety Course certificate.
• State Industrial Radiographer’s Card or IRRSP Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks and calibrations of equipment.
• Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
