Job summary

TEAM, inc. Odessa, TX is seeking an entry-level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing at client sites. This role offers hands-on training and a path into asset integrity careers in oil and gas environments.

You will help prepare materials, transport equipment, and assist with UT/MT/PT/RT testing while upholding safety protocols. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; TWIC/OSHA credentials can be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other site credentials.
• Willingness to travel and work extended shifts, weekends, and varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT).
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing.
• Support radiation safety practices and secure work areas for radiographic testing.
• Transport equipment to and from job sites and maintain inventory control.
• Complete field reports and timesheets as directed.
• Follow safety rules and client site protocols.
