Job summary

Acuren in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking NDT Assistants to support on-site inspection activities. You will help calibrate nondestructive testing equipment and assist Radiographers with testing to determine acceptance or rejection according to written instructions.

A successful candidate will have a High School diploma, some college preferred, and the ability to meet background check requirements; driving record to operate company vehicles may be required. Local candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college is preferred.
• Technical background is desirable.
• Must be able to pass background check and meet regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures and carrying equipment.
