Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred for advancement.
• Technical background desired.
• Background check will assess trustworthiness and reliability to comply with regulations.
• State required or safety certifications may be requested (e.g., 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training).
• IRRSP/State card certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibration of NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures and handling equipment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
