Based in or near Corpus Christi, candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a background in technical fields, and be prepared for a background check and safety training.

Qualifications

• Technical background desired.
• Background checks confirm trustworthiness and reliability to comply with regulations.
• Driving record must meet company standards to drive vehicles.
• Based in or near Corpus Christi, TX.
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training completed.
• Industrial Radiographer State Card (trainee status acceptable).
• IRRSP card.
• Valid TWIC card or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects via NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and related tasks.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.

NDT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:

We are currently seeking candidates who are based in or near Corpus Christi, TX | South, TX While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to local candidates due to the on‑site requirements of this role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Technical background desired
• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
• Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
