Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is recruiting for MP&P Technical Analyst 5 to support the Boeing In-Service NDT team in Tukwila, WA on first shift. This 12-month assignment focuses on developing and updating Non-Destructive Test procedures and CAD-based calibration standards.

Candidates should have 20+ years in NDI/NDT, aerospace in-service experience with UT/ET, proficiency with MS Office, ability to travel up to 15%, and willingness to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).
• 20+ years working in aerospace in-service support with ultrasonics testing (UT) and/or eddy current(ET).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Experience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures

Responsibilities

• Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
• Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
• Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.
• Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
• Composes procedure figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response.
• Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
