Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking an MP&P Technical Analyst 3 for the In-Service NDT team in Tukwila, WA. This 12-month assignment on first shift (7:00am–3:30pm) supports Associate and Experienced NDT specialists in developing procedures and CAD drawings for inspections.

You will set up non-destructive test equipment, write procedure figures, and report trends while traveling up to 15% and working occasional weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of education or experience in NDI/NDT.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
• Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
• Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.
• Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
• Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response.
• Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing.
• 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
• Experience with CAD Software.
• Experience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures.
