Job summary

WICHITA STATE UNIVERSITY is looking for an NDI Technician Level I to perform non-destructive inspections on aircraft components at the Advanced Technologies Lab for Aerospace Systems, a multi-disciplinary engineering program.

The role requires completion of an NDT technical program and skills in laboratory settings and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• NDT technical program meeting SNT‑TC1A and/or NAS-410.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive inspection on aircraft components.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate inspection equipment.
• Conduct tests using appropriate NDI techniques.
• Document inspection results.
• Notify technicians of any problems.
