Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Quality NDE Examination Technician to support the Environment Safety Health & Quality team at the Advanced Test Reactor. The role performs RT/UT examinations and supports PAUT, ISI, outages, and project work, ensuring adherence to procedures, codes, and quality requirements.

You will coordinate with Quality Engineering, Level II personnel, and other crafts, maintain NDE certifications, participate in pre-job planning, and document results accurately while

Qualifications

• Current or previous Level II qualification/certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) and/or Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• Ability to obtain and maintain INL Basic Inspector and other job-specific qualifications.
• Ability to interpret NDE procedures, drawings, specifications, acceptance criteria, and applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform RT and/or UT examinations per procedures and codes.
• Set up, calibrate, acquire data, evaluate and document results.
• Provide field inspection support for ATR operations and outages.
• Review drawings, specs, work packages, and exam requirements prior to field work.
