Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is hiring dedicated NDE/RT Assistants willing to travel across the United States to support projects and turnarounds. The role supports the Level II NDE Technician and offers exposure to multiple NDT methods within a safety-focused environment.

Candidates should be prepared for out-of-town travel, have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read technical documents and reports. Training and growth are available in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel out of town on short notice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications.
• Proven ability to follow precise directions and adapt to changing schedules.
• Must communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
• Learn and abide by company policies and procedures.
• May operate radiographic equipment under supervision as needed.
• Maintain security of radiographic equipment and restrict access in controlled areas.
