Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced Nondestructive Evaluation Engineer to advance inspection methods for engine components. You will develop techniques, tooling, and procedures for NDE applications across multiple inspection modalities, ensuring reliability and meeting customer needs.

Desirable candidates hold an MS or PhD in engineering or materials science and have hands-on NDE experience. This is an onsite role in East Hartford, CT, with comprehensive benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Engineering or Materials Science required.
• Experience in nondestructive inspection technologies (electromagnetic, ultrasonics, X-ray/CT, FPI, and emerging NDE methods).
• U.S. citizenship required to access program information.

Responsibilities

• Develop new inspection techniques, tooling and applications for NDE of engine components.
• Plan, manage and execute inspection development projects.
• Verify inspection techniques meet reliability and POD requirements.
