Job summary

TechDigital Group in Ankeny, IA is seeking a technically skilled professional to support Retail POS/payments platforms and forecourt systems. You will analyze POS logs, troubleshoot using Windows Event Viewer, and work directly with Client and Verifone to implement permanent fixes.

The role requires ITIL incident and problem management experience, scripting or automation exposure, and strong stakeholder communication to coordinate with SHD/L2 leads and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Retail POS/Payments platforms and specific systems (Client Retalix R10 / Radiant / CX7 / 770x).
• Experience with fuel & forecourt systems (Site Controller, fuel dispensers, Price Advantage/Price Book integration).
• Strong log analysis skills using POS/fuel PC and Windows Event Viewer.
• ITIL-based incident and problem management experience; able to own a backlog end-to-end.
• Scripting/automation exposure (PowerShell, Python, or RPA) to build self-heal solutions.
• Experience working with POS/payment vendors (Client, Verifone) to drive permanent fixes via JIRA/ServiceNow.
• Excellent stakeholder communication — able to work directly with client SHD/L2 leads and internal teams.

JD and Must-Haves:

1. Retail POS/Payments support, with hands‑on Client Retalix R10 / Radiant / CX7 / 770x POS platform experience
2. Experience with fuel & forecourt systems — Site Controller, fuel dispensers, Price Advantage/Price Book integration
3. Strong log analysis skills (POS, FUEL PC, Windows Event Viewer) for advanced troubleshooting
4. ITIL-based incident & problem management experience; comfortable owning a problem backlog end-to-end
5. Scripting/automation exposure (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or RPA) to build L0/L1 self-heal solutions
6. Experience working with POS/payment vendors (Client, Verifone) to drive permanent fixes via JIRA/ServiceNow
7. Excellent stakeholder communication — able to work directly with client SHD/L2 leads and internal teams
