We are seeking a POS Support Engineer to support and maintain the point-of-sale and forecourt technology environment across a network of fuel and convenience retail sites. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for keeping payment, POS, and forecourt systems running reliably, troubleshooting complex issues across the store technology stack, and automating routine operations. The environment is Windows-based today, with a planned migration of select endpoints to Linux (openSUSE) on the roadmap.
The ideal candidate has deep, practical experience supporting a retail POS environment and brings strong PowerShell scripting skills to automate maintenance, deployments, and diagnostics at scale.
Within the first few weeks you'll be independently resolving POS and forecourt escalations, reducing manual maintenance effort through PowerShell automation, and contributing to the planning and testing of the Windows-to-Linux endpoint migration.
