Archer Review is seeking an experienced NCLEX/NGN item writer for a part-time, fully remote contract in the United States. You will develop and refine NCLEX-style questions to strengthen nursing assessment content and NGN items, while aligning with curriculum objectives and editorial standards.

You will collaborate with an existing contractor team to ensure high-quality baselines and summatives, focusing on clinical reasoning, decision-making, and realistic nursing scenarios.

Qualifications

• Experience writing NCLEX-style nursing assessment items.
• Strong NGN item development experience.
• Ability to craft questions across nursing curricula.
• Excellent written communication with attention to clinical accuracy.
• Ability to independently incorporate feedback and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Write NCLEX-style questions for Baseline and Summative exams across nursing school courses.
• Review and revise existing questions for clinical accuracy, clarity, difficulty, and alignment with course content.
• Develop NGN standalone items using various NGN formats.
• Create clinically coherent scenarios assessing cue recognition, analysis, prioritization, decision-making, and evaluation.
• Revise questions based on beta testing and editorial feedback, adjusting difficulty and content gaps.
• Develop clear rationales and scoring structures; follow item-writing standards and guidelines.
