About Us: Ardent Services, LLC, established in 2002, provides professional electrical and instrumentation services, including high-quality power, control, and process automation services, as well as specialty electrical and instrumentation (E&I) services for process industries nationwide.

Primary Tasks: Performing construction, maintenance, and repairs of electrical and instrumentation systems. Proficient in conduit installation, motor control circuitry, switch gear maintenance, and cable termination. Ability to read electrical prints and schematic drawings. Capable of estimating costs and ordering materials.

Location: ADDIS, LA

MUST HAVE VALID NCCER ELECTRICAL CERTIFICATION

Essential Duties:

1. Install electrical raceway systems including rigid aluminum, galvanized steel, PVC, and coated conduit, as well as cable trays.
2. Terminate single and multiple conductor cables.
3. Install electrical devices such as light fixtures, transformers, disconnects, motor starters, and distribution panels.
4. Test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical circuits.
5. Use electrical test equipment safely, including volt-ohm meters, amp meters, and megohmmeters.
6. Operate hand and power tools safely.
7. Measure and bend conduit accurately using manual, mechanical, hydraulic, and electric benders.
8. Pull and secure electrical conductors, including measuring, cutting, tagging, and shaping cables.
9. Properly pack and pour seals.
10. Follow the National Electrical Code and OSHA safety practices.
11. Read electrical drawings and schematics.
12. Use Personal Protective Equipment appropriately and understand associated hazards.
13. Adhere to safety procedures for working at heights and with lift equipment.
