Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder to supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures on industrial sites. You will work at heights and ensure safe, compliant erection as directed by supervisors.

This role requires 4 years of journeyman-level experience, NCCER certification, a valid driver’s license, and a TWIC card. You must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States and commit to

Qualifications

Education: no minimum education requirements.
Experience: 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
Certification/License: NCCER, a Valid Driver’s License, and a TWIC Card.

Responsibilities

Supervise the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
Work at heights with no fear and properly instruct on installation.
Oversee transport of scaffolding materials and erect the scaffold as instructed.
Hoist materials upward to erect temporary structures and secure/level locking sections.
Secure scaffold to permanent structures for added stability and adhere to OSHA and site requirements.
Inspect and stow scaffolding after dismantling and perform final inspections.
Duties may include other responsibilities and ensuring safety compliance.
