Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Crane Operator with dredge/clamshell experience to operate lattice boom crawler cranes (Manitowoc 4000 and Liebherr 895) across Baltimore and Norfolk projects. The role requires strong load-chart interpretation, safety discipline, and readiness for 12-hour shifts with travel between locations.

Minimum 4–10 years of crane experience, NCCCO (LBC) designation required, and ability to work in challenging marine/industrial environments.

Qualifications

• NCCCO with LBC designation required; TLL designation preferred.
• Four to ten years related crane experience on dredge or utility projects.
• Able to read load charts and determine safe loads for picks.

Responsibilities

• Operate lattice boom crawler cranes to run dredge rig between sites.
• Level crane and verify loads using load charts and signaling protocols.
• Maintain crane and hoisting equipment and report defects promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and standard hand signals during operations.
• Travel between Baltimore and Norfolk and work 12-hour shifts.
