Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a certified crane operator for a hospital expansion project on a busy Fort Worth campus. The role involves operating a 65-ton Grove rough terrain crane on an active site, with strict adherence to load charts and safety procedures.

Candidates must hold NCCCO CCO with TLL endorsement, have 60+ ton experience, and pass OSHA 10. DOT medical card preferred. Work could be up to six 10-hour days per week for about three months; local Dallas–Fort Worth candidates preferred.

Qualifications

  • NCCCO (CCO) certification with TLL endorsement, current and unexpired.
  • Rough terrain crane time at 60 tons and up, Grove or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10 — preferred.
  • Current DOT medical card — preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Run a 65-ton Grove rough terrain crane and stay inside the load chart on every pick
  • Set up each pick — outrigger position and cribbing, counterweight, boom configuration, radius, and load chart check before the load leaves the ground
  • Work a tight, occupied campus: limited swing room, restricted lay-down, picks adjacent to live hospital operations and public traffic
  • Perform and document daily crane inspections, and shut the machine down when it needs it
  • Coordinate every lift with the site superintendent, riggers, and signalperson
  • Hold the schedule for the length of the run — up to six 10-hour days a week for roughly three months
