Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Four years of full-time NCAA compliance experience.
• Experience providing NCAA rules interpretations and educational sessions.
• Strong knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance monitoring systems.
• Master's or juris doctorate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Athletics Compliance Office and internship program.
• Lead rules education for coaches, staff, student-athletes, administrators, and other university constituents, including monitoring regulatory changes.
• Develop and maintain audit, monitoring, allegation, and self-reporting systems; identify and research potential violations; assist with self-reports.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of NCAA and conference waivers and coordinate eligibility clearances.
• Review NCAA, conference, CSU, and SDSU forms for eligibility concerns and maintain current waiver and eligibility databases.
