Job summary

K2 Group, Inc. seeks a Nuclear Analyst to support the Headquarters Air Force NC3 Division. The role provides specialized technical, analytical, and programmatic support for NC3 governance, with work performed onsite at HQ Air Force facilities.

Responsibilities include drafting policy updates, integrating JROC/Joint Staff requirements, and delivering briefs and reports to senior leaders. Requires Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and strong analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship and Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience with DoD NC3 policy, governance, and nuclear deterrence concepts.
• Proven ability to develop technical reports and briefing materials for senior leaders.
• Proficient with collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint) and related staff tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed analytical and preparatory support for NC3 governance forums and senior leader engagements.
• Assess and integrate NC3 requirements into DoD policies and guidance from JROC, Joint Staff, and COCOM.
• Lead drafting and coordination of updates to two critical Air Force NC3 policy documents.
• Coordinate formal staffing and cross-organizational input across HQ Air Force and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver briefings, point papers, and programmatic reports on NC3 policy developments.
• Support NC3 technical working groups, steering boards, and related forums; advocate for Air Force equities.
