K2 Group is seeking a CWMD/Nuclear Analyst to support Headquarters Air Force. The role blends policy analysis, strategic forecasting, and risk management to advance CWMD initiatives and NC3 governance.

You will draft guidance, evaluate national strategic guidance, and interface with senior decision-makers to align programs with national security goals. Requires TS/SCI clearance and 3–10 years of CWMD policy experience; contingent opportunity in Virginia.

Qualificações

• 3–10 years’ experience developing and analyzing procedures and workflows for CWMD or defense policy programs.
• Experience developing, analyzing, and authoring policy documentation for CWMD, NC3, or defense programs.
• Direct experience evaluating national strategic guidance documents (NDS, NPR, National Biodefense Strategy).
• Ability to assess CWMD implications across OPLANs and contested environments.
• Familiarity with NC3 modernization, governance structures, and treaty compliance strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Research and refine policy frameworks and analytical workflows to improve CWMD program performance.
• Shape defense planning, treaty compliance, and risk mitigation aligned with national security goals.
• Provide timely analysis, point papers, programmatic reports, and senior leader briefings.
• Support Air Force participation in NC3 governance forums and senior leader engagements.
• Draft guidance on CWC, BWC, and NPT to ensure program alignment.
• Assess NC3 requirements from JROC, Joint Staff, and COCOM within DAF policies.
• Lead updates to Air Force NC3 policy documents.
• Coordinate staffing and input across HQ Air Force and stakeholders.
• Represent Air Force in NC3 working groups and governance forums.
