Job summary

K2 Group, Inc. is seeking a CWMD/Nuclear Analyst to support Headquarters Air Force. The role combines strategic analysis, policy acumen, and risk management to design and implement CWMD initiatives and ensure treaty compliance.

You will work with senior leaders, draft guidance for NC3, and coordinate across Headquarters Air Force to advance national security objectives, including participation in governance forums and high-level engagements.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience developing and analyzing CWMD or defense policy procedures.
• Experience developing, analyzing, and drafting CWMD/NC3 policy documentation.
• Experience evaluating national strategic guidance documents (NDS, NPR, National Biodefense Strategy).
• Ability to assess CWMD implications across OPLANs and contested environments.
• Familiarity with NC3 modernization and treaty compliance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and refine policy frameworks and analytical workflows for CWMD programs.
• Shape defense planning and risk mitigation to align with national security goals.
• Produce analyses, point papers, and briefings for senior leadership.
• Support NC3 governance forums and high-level engagements.
• Coordinate staffing and input across Headquarters Air Force and stakeholders.
• Represent Air Force in NC3 technical working groups and steering boards.
