Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an NC3 Assessment Analyst to apply technical expertise across defense projects and write reports for each location. You’ll assess site mission capability and serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying and evaluating complex systems, policies, and electromagnetic pulse effects on various systems.

You’ll guide the work and the solutions delivered to strengthen defense planning and readiness, contributing to mission assurance and national security.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in strategic military SATCOM programs (EHF, AEHF, SHF) providing architectural and SATCOM requirements analysis.
  • 5+ years troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, operating, and maintaining secure SATCOM capabilities to ensure secure, survivable, and jam-resistant communications
  • 3+ years preparing technical documents to authorize scheduled downtime for maintenance procedures, schedule preventative maintenance, and document logistics
  • 3+ years of experience with electronics test equipment and tools including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, data test sets, RF measuring equipment, soldering irons, and non-power tools
  • Knowledge of satellite communication principles including uplink, downlink, transponders, and signal propagation
  • Knowledge of satellite network architecture including ground stations, antennas, modems, and satellite payloads
  • Ability to provide support in C4I systems analysis, systems integration, modeling and simulation, architecture development, trade-off analysis, nuclear weapons effects support
  • Ability to travel up to 35% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic military satellite communications programs such as EHF, AEHF, and SHF providing architectural and SATCOM requirements analysis

  • 3+ years of experience using specialized test equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Spectrum analyzers, Signal generators, and Bit error rate testers (BERT)
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including voltage, current, resistance, and power calculations
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems related to satellite communication equipment, such as antenna alignment and mounting hardware
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members and higher command
