Job summary

Mommy's Moment Day Care in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a passionate NC Pre-K Lead Teacher to guide preschoolers through play-based, developmentally appropriate learning in a warm, nurturing classroom. You will plan curriculum aligned with NC Pre-K guidelines, assess progress, and communicate regularly with families while collaborating with staff to create a cohesive learning experience.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and be licensed or eligible for NC Pre-K lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is required for NC Pre-K Lead Teacher designation.
• NC Pre-K Lead Teacher licensure or eligibility preferred.
• Experience with preschool-aged children in licensed settings.
• Knowledge of NC Foundations for Early Learning and Development standards.
• CPR and First Aid certification current or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement NC Pre-K curriculum aligned with state guidelines and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
• Conduct ongoing child assessments and maintain accurate developmental records.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, milestones, and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Maintain compliance with NC Pre-K program requirements, licensing standards, and DCDEE regulations.
• Participate in required professional development, training, and staff meetings
