Job summary

Child Development Schools seeks a North Carolina Pre-K Lead Teacher to guide early childhood learning and ensure alignment with the NC Pre-K Curriculum. You will create a warm, engaging classroom that supports physical health, social-emotional growth, and early literacy as part of a unified development plan for each child.

You will assess progress toward School Readiness Goals, adapt activities to meet individual needs, including children with disabilities, and uphold rigorous health and safety

Qualifications

• Oversee classroom activities in NC Pre-K according to state standards.
• Follow NC Division of Child Development and Early Education standards.
• Design and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
• Assess and track children’s progress toward School Readiness Goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily instructional activities for NC Pre-K students.
• Collaborate with families to support child development.
• Maintain a nurturing, safe classroom environment.
