Job summary

Child Development Schools North Carolina LLC in Lewisville, NC is seeking an NC Pre-K Lead Teacher to guide classroom activities and implement the NC Pre-K curriculum with fidelity.

You will create a nurturing learning environment, assess progress toward School Readiness goals, and tailor instruction to diverse learners, including children with disabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of preschool teaching experience.
• Active pursuit or attainment of NC Birth through Kindergarten (B-K) licensure with provisional options.
• Eligibility for NC Initial Provisional B-K License or NC K-6 license with provisional Preschool Add-on.

Responsibilities

• Oversee classroom activities following NC Pre-K standards and curriculum.
• Design engaging learning experiences across physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and creative domains.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor School Readiness goals and adapt lessons for individual needs.
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene procedures and supervise children.
