Job summary

accel bi corporation is hiring a NC FAST Power BI & Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize enterprise data pipelines and analytics environments in North Carolina. You will work with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI to support Medicaid and Child Welfare analytics initiatives.

The role requires strong SQL, ETL/ELT development, and cloud-based data engineering experience. Collaboration with business and technical teams is essential for delivering robust analytics

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI and data engineering.
• Experience with Power BI datasets, dataflows, DirectQuery, and Import models.
• Advanced SQL development and ETL/ELT design and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and related Azure services.
• Build and manage data ingestion workflows from Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
• Develop and support Power BI dashboards, datasets, dataflows, and semantic models.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, API integrations, and reporting issues.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver analytics solutions.
