Job summary

Globenet Consulting Corp is seeking an experienced Azure Synapse & Power BI Developer to support data engineering and analytics initiatives. This role involves building scalable data pipelines and optimizing performance in Azure Synapse, with a focus on delivering insights through Power BI dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and Power BI skills, and is able to work remotely, preferably in the PST timezone. U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, BI development, or analytics engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong Power BI skills, including DAX, data modeling, and report development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to support large datasets and analytics workloads.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and semantic models.
