Job summary

RAS LaVrar, a growing creditors’ rights law firm, seeks an Associate Attorney for North Carolina. The role covers end-to-end case management, from conditions precedent review to trials and discovery in a high-volume practice.

Candidate must hold a JD, active NC Bar, and 1–3 years’ experience in collections/creditors’ rights. Remote work with NC residency required; multi-state licensure considered for premium rounds.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and an active North Carolina Bar license.
• 1–3 years of legal experience, preferably in collections, foreclosure, or creditors’ rights.
• Resident of Charlotte or surrounding area; multi-state licensure considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage an NC creditor’s rights docket from review to trial and discovery.
• Represent the firm at hearings across North Carolina and handle contested matters.
• Draft and oversee pleadings, motions, and correspondence; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with clients and preserve data integrity in case-management systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional liaison with courts and opposing counsel.
