The candidate should have an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or Construction Management, NBIS certification, and 3–5 years of inspection experience. Travel to multiple DMV sites is required; salary is hourly with benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Construction Management.
• NBIS certification is required.
• NICET, MARTCP, and OSHA 30-Hour are preferred certifications.
• Experience of 3–5 years in construction inspection or related field is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to DMV area sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects at various stages of completion.
• Verify compliance with building codes and regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
• Examine materials, methods, and workmanship for quality and safety.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records.
• Identify and document code violations or safety hazards.
• Communicate findings to project managers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with inspectors, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Stay updated on changes in codes and industry best practices.
• Utilize inspection software and mobile devices to streamline processes.
