Job summary

The NBA is seeking a Production Assistant to join the Footage group in our New Jersey offices. You will fulfill footage requests for broadcast partners, marketing partners, and 3rd party licensees, while navigating the league's media archive.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, strong video editing skills (Adobe Premiere), excellent communication, and a passion for basketball history. This in-office role requires teamwork and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication and active listening.
• Strong basketball knowledge and passion for basketball history.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with video editing is required, especially Adobe Premiere.

Responsibilities

• Search through the NBA’s media archive.
• Create and send footage playlists.
• Create media timelines.
• Post footage to FTP folders and media delivery points.
• Log/provide description of footage.
• Curate video assets in the archive and manage transfers of video files.
