Job summary

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking a Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) Operations & Maintenance Manager to oversee safe operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of WHE for U.S. Navy port operations.

You will provide technical leadership and supervise personnel to ensure equipment readiness and compliance with Navy standards. You will oversee crane operators, riggers, inspectors, and maintenance staff; plan staffing and maintenance schedules; and ensure training and

Qualifications

Minimum ten years of experience in weight handling equipment operations and maintenance.
Five+ years in a supervisory or management capacity.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily WHE operations, maintenance, inspections, certifications, personnel, and resources.
Supervise crane operators, riggers, inspectors, and maintenance personnel to ensure safe operations.
Oversee inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cranes, hoists, and lifting devices.
Plan staffing, equipment assignments, maintenance schedules, and priorities.
Ensure compliance with NAVFAC P-307, Navy Crane Center requirements, OSHA standards, and lifting procedures.
