Job summary

National Steel and Shipbuilding Com seeks a WTC Coordinator to manage Work Authorizations, tag-outs, and testing plans for ship repair activities at Bremerton. The role involves coordinating with shipboard departments and overseeing safe isolation and restoration of ship systems.

The ideal candidate has Navy tag-out program familiarity, supervisory repair experience, and strong communication skills. On-site work in Bremerton with potential travel to related facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience with Navy tag-out programs preferred.
• 3 years supervisory experience in electrical or mechanical repair work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) and WAF Log Index.
• Instruct subcontracted Repair Activities on Navy Work Authorization/Tag-Out programs.
• Conduct training on the Energy Control Program and provide NAVSEA 110 training.
• Review WAF status and progress, and coordinate tag-out revisions as needed.
