Job summary
Booz Allen is seeking a Systems Engineer to support U.S. Navy submarine operations, bridging naval warfare expertise with GCCS‑M software development.
You will translate real-world needs into technical specifications and coordinate with operators, acquisition stakeholders, and developers to ensure mission-aligned GCCS‑M capabilities. This role requires deep submarine systems knowledge, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to travel up to 25% while maintaining active security
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience aboard a U.S. Navy submarine.
- Experience with submarine combat systems, torpedo employment, and mission planning.
- Knowledge of C2 operations, TMA, and naval C4ISR concepts.
- Ability to coordinate across operational, technical, engineering, and acquisition communities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between naval warfare, C4I, and submarine forces.
- Ensure GCCS‑M capabilities support submarine mission requirements throughout the lifecycle.
- Work with fleet operators, acquisition stakeholders, and software developers to translate needs into specifications.
