Job summary

Serco Inc. in Middletown, Rhode Island, seeks a Mid-Level Systems Administrator to support high-profile Navy programs.

The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining systems, managing AD and security controls, and ensuring data integrity across Windows Server environments. Candidates must hold interim Secret with ability to obtain a full Secret clearance, and have 2 years of relevant experience or 4 years with a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy management.
• Experience with VMware ESXi, SQL databases, and Windows Server operations.
• Working knowledge of DoD security requirements, STIGs, and RMF.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain system components (install/configure hardware and software).
• Manage user accounts, backups, and recoveries; implement security controls.
• Develop and document SOPs for systems administration; maintain baseline security.
• Manage system resources, performance, capacity, and recoverability.
• Administer Windows Server and AD infrastructure; troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
