Job summary

SEACORP seeks a skilled System Administrator II to join the IT team in Middletown, RI. The role entails installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and enterprise infrastructure with a security-focused mindset and strong end-user support.

Responsibilities cover infrastructure & network administration, security & compliance, and backup/disaster recovery. Candidate must have 3+ years in Windows server environments and relevant certifications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience administering Windows server and network environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V), and enterprise networking.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall administration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade physical and virtual servers.
• Deploy, configure, and support network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN appliances.
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services.
• Monitor system availability and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide Tier II/III technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and backups.
