Job summary

MIKEL is seeking an experienced professional in Middletown, RI to provide real-time fleet support for Combat Control systems, including ISEA, chat, and technical assistance. The role involves working with SC2 at NUWC, with travel to BYG-1 program events and occasional on-site support at Groton for installations.

The ideal candidate will have Navy combat systems knowledge, strong communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree (or 5–7 years of related experience).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5–7 years in Fleet Support/Systems Engineering.
• Experience with Navy combat systems and fleet communications is preferred.
• Candidates must be able to work flexible hours for fleet support.

Responsibilities

• Respond to current Fleet issues and develop Fleet Advisories.
• Attend AN/BYG-1 meetings and provide feedback to ISEA team.
• Maintain SUBs/CASREPs/Fleet correspondence and track issues.
• Develop quarterly Fleet Newsletter and assist in documentation reviews.
• Occasional travel to program working groups and installations.
