The role emphasizes coordination with Navy offices and technical teams to sustain fleet readiness and safety of sailors. The position requires an active DoW Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent naval experience, and strong proficiency in MS Office and Navy technical processes.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years naval shipboard engineering experience, or HS diploma with 4+ years.
• Experience with Navy ship configurations and safety standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and naval data systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for HM&E systems across US Navy surface ships.
• Develop technical findings, CASREPs analyses, and corrective actions.
• Prepare technical docs, installation drawings, and advisory messages.
• Coordinate with Navy stakeholders and contractors.
• Analyze equipment failures and maintenance actions.
