Amentum is seeking a Test Engineer – NOST Support to join our Navy On-Site Team at the Lockheed Martin facility in Manassas, VA. You will lead the planning, execution, and validation of ARCI SONAR systems for both in-service and new-construction submarine platforms, bridging design and deployment while meeting rigorous Navy standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), 5 years of engineering/testing, and an Active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Experience with sonar or naval systems is a plus.
• Proficient in documenting test cases.
• Willing to work shift schedules for event testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and validate ARCI SONAR system tests.
• Collaborate with engineering to define test plans.
• Identify and resolve functional problems.
• Maintain reliability programs and quality standards.
• Conduct performance verification testing.
• Document test cases and provide feedback for product changes.
• Ensure testing complies with Navy standards.
• Coordinate with vendors for testing components.
• Oversee software longevity testing (Sonar Test Director).
