The role leads a mechanical systems design group for Navy programs, overseeing SCD, engineering analysis, design checks, and ship installation drawings. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in ship engineering, design, ship modernization.
• At least 3 years of management experience as Engineering/Project Manager or Deputy PM.
• Experience managing Navy service type contracts/major DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and design personnel and control project costs, quality, schedules, and manning.
• Report to the Naval Engineering Manager.
• Oversee Ship Change Documentation Support (SCD), Engineering Analysis, Design Ship Checks, and Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs).
