Job summary

Leidos is seeking an SCI Security Controls Assessor Representative A&A Specialist to join our team in Suitland, MD. You will support the assessment and authorization of Navy SCI systems and work within the Security Engineering Division at ONI's Hopper Center.

You will evaluate complex environments, identify cybersecurity risk, and help ensure systems meet security requirements. Travel up to 25% is required; the role leverages RMF, NIST, and DoD tools to deliver high-quality SARs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; 10+ years of experience (or more if no degree).
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 10+ years A&A experience with ICD-503 or NIST Framework.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Expert RMF assessment experience per NIST 800-37.
• Experience as a Security Controls Assessor Representative.

Responsibilities

• Support security assessment activities for Navy SCI IT systems, including Cross Domain Solutions and cloud environments.
• Perform RMF-based assessments following NIST SP 800-37, 800-53, and CNSS 1253 guidance.
• Execute assessments supporting change requests, IATT, and documentation reviews.
• Document SARs and risk posture with quality deliverables.
• Research and assess emerging technologies for Navy Intelligence environments.
• Maintain knowledge of DISA STIGs and SRGs; utilize tools to evaluate controls.
