Job summary

Leidos seeks an SCI Security Controls Assessor Representative A&A Specialist in Suitland, MD to support Navy SCI IT system assessments and authorization activities. You will evaluate controls, document risk, and ensure compliance with RMF, NIST SP 800-37/53, and CNSS guidelines.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, extensive A&A experience, and the ability to support complex environments across labs and operations. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; 10+ or 12+ years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 10+ years of A&A experience with ICD-503 and/or NIST Framework.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Expert RMF assessment experience per NIST 800-37.
• Experience with DoD, DISA, NNWC, DoDIIS, and IC tools and A&A requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% within the National Capital Region and worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Support security assessment activities for Navy SCI IT systems, including Cross Domain Solutions and cloud environments.
• Perform laboratory and operational security assessments per RMF, NIST 800-37/53, CNSS 1253.
• Execute assessments supporting Baseline Change Requests and IATT processes.
• Document SARs and system risk posture comprehensively.
• Research emerging technologies for Navy Intelligence environments.
• Maintain knowledge of DISA STIGs/SRGs and related guides.
• Use tools like Xacta, Nessus/ACAS, STIG Viewer to evaluate controls.
• Develop test procedures and assessment processes compliant with DoD/IC policy.
