Job summary

StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Financial Analyst, Journeyman to support a NAVAIR Program Office in Patuxent River, MD. The FA will perform quantitative analyses affecting investment programs and provide financial support to the activity.

Essential duties include documenting business practices, CSPT funding planning, monitoring execution, and preparing weekly/monthly funding status reports using Navy ERP.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in applicable field.
• Associate degree plus two years of relevant work experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.
• Four years of additional work experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree. If substituting only work experience, you must have seven years total.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of financial systems and document business practices; propose and implement process improvements.
• Collect and interpret financial information to support funding realignments and budget decisions.
• Create and maintain financial information within program briefings.
• Plan funding in CSPT and execute according to the plan.
• Monitor funding execution and provide recommendations to meet obligation and expenditure goals.
• Attend IPT meetings to contribute to financial management decisions.
• Support management activities and data calls impacting the organization.
• Use Navy ERP to execute funding documents, extract and analyze financial reports, and prepare funding status reports.
