Job summary

Amentum in Washington DC is seeking a Program Analyst III to support a Navy contract in a hybrid role requiring on-site work 1-3 days per week. The position emphasizes program management, engineering support, and analysis to inform government decisions.

Applicants should have 5+ years Navy Program Management, 2+ years Navy Engineering Support, and an active Secret Clearance. Travel to client sites in the DC/VA area may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Navy Program Management experience.
• 2+ years of Navy Engineering Support experience.
• Ability to analyze and process engineering program documentation.
• Ability to assess and update spend plans.
• Ability to develop/document/implement new processes.
• Ability to analyze program risks and develop risk assessments.
• Must be proactive, work independently, and within a team environment.
• Availability for in-office coverage when Government APMs/client is out.
• Ability to travel to support client (minimal, DC/VA area).
• Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, direction, and success of major programs and research initiatives for Navy Submarine needs.
• Collect, review, and analyze information to make government recommendations.
• Define problems, analyze data including revenues, cost, schedule, or expenditures.
• Develop solutions and prepare recommendations.
• Understand the organization and its Government relationships and culture.
• Prepare and report findings and recommendations to the Government.
• Prepare written reports and oral presentations on findings.
