Serco is seeking a Project Manager to join the PORTS program supporting the US Navy from Middletown, RI. You will oversee day-to-day project operations, liaise between the Program Manager, customer, and project team, and ensure schedules, budgets, and DoD requirements are met.

The role requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in a technical or management field, and at least five years of management experience including P&L.

Competenze

• US citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Strong MS Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%.

Mansioni

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
